Adolescent Intervention Services is pleased to announce that we offer a secure holding facility.  Many parents struggle with making the decision to send there child away.  It can be a very tedious and stressful process.  Often times parents are concerned that there child may not go to the program, and fear that the child may run away or create more of a destructive path that may result in jail, institution or death.  Adolescent Intervention Services is able to provide an environment where your child will be able to deescalate his behavior, begin the process of change and self discovery, and you as the parents will be able to make a sound decision, without worrying about the next step – will he are she be there when it is time to go. 

We provide clinical intervention, that includes spending 24 hours per day under the watchful eye of our trained staff.  They will integrate positive communication, respect, and facilitate communication that will allow your child to begin the healing process.  Once he or she attends the program that they, their parents, or their educational consultant chose, many of these young men and women have come to a better understanding of their position and enter the program in a much more positive frame of mind.  Under the constant care of our staff, we also integrate physical fitness such as hiking, and walking, along with daily responsibilities around the home which includes cooking, cleaning, and laundry.  We remain in constant contact with the parents, educational consultants, and programs.  Every child is allowed to call home daily and phone calls are monitored under the supervision of the staff.  No other phone calls are permitted.  Parents are provided with all necessary information to access staff 24/7. 

For an additional fee and with time permitting, we are also able to provide a clinical assessment and psycho-educational testing prior to your child’s admittance into their program.
