 Chris Burns:
Chris is currently enrolled in the MSW program at the University of
Maryland and is planning on completing coursework to receive his LCSW.
For the past two years he has worked for Humboldt Child Care Council in California
as a Behavioral Respite Worker with two Autistic youths. During that
time he received PRO-ACT restraint and self defense certification. Chris has
worked as a whitewater kayak, sea kayak, and rock climbing instructor
for Camp Outer Quest.
Chris started on the basketball and lacrosse teams all four years in high school,
having leadership roles on both teams. He went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at UMBC
and Lehigh University. Chris has coached several teams at the middle school and college level
and understands what it takes to motivate young people to achieve their potential.
Chris espcially enjoys fishing, hunting and playing outside with his dogs. |
