Melissa has been working for AIS for three years. She currently is actively involved in transporting our female clients as well as serving a very important role in case set-up and coordination. Melissa has direct interaction with many of our parents and understands their stress and anxiety in making such a difficult decision as she too had her oldest child transported to treatment five years ago. She understands the emotional turmoil that parents struggle with in making the decision to have there child transported. She is currently employed at the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents providing direct care to adolescents on the inpatient residential unit. Melissa is a Certified Nursing Assistant with training in the prevention of youth gang violence, Prevention Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB), and she is CPR and First Aid Certified. Melissa enjoys traveling especially going on cruises and enjoys spending time with her children. |
